The five limbs of the day — tithi, vara, nakshatra, yoga, karana — reckoned at your local sunrise with their end times, alongside sunrise and sunset. Pick your city and the whole calendar follows it.

Views

Daily, weekly, monthly and yearly, with filter chips for Festivals, Ekadashi, Purnima·Amavasya and Sankranti, plus a search box. Tap any row to open its full day.

Ten regional traditions

North Indian, Kannadiga, Telugu, Marathi-Konkani, Gujarati, Tamil, Kerala, Bengali, Odia and Punjabi — each with its own month names, era (Vikram, Shaka, Kollam, Bangabda, Kartikadi, Meshadi), new year, and the 60-year samvatsara where it is used. Sun/Moon basis and Amanta/Purnimanta schools are switchable, with Adhika-masa detection.

Festival timing done properly

Festivals are set by the correct kala rule rather than the sunrise tithi alone:

  • Diwali by Amavasya at pradosha (dusk)
  • Maha Shivaratri and Krishna Janmashtami by the nishita (midnight) tithi
  • Ekadashi by the Vaishnava rule — vriddhi moves to the second day, kshaya is observed on Dwadashi — with every Ekadashi named, including the Adhika-masa Padmini and Parama

Reminders (Android only)

Per-category notifications for festivals, Ekadashi, Purnima/Amavasya, Sankranti, eclipses, Upākarma and the day’s net-auspicious windows, each with its own lead time. They are planned on-device by the same engines that draw the calendar and handed to the phone’s alarm clock. Every category is off until you switch it on, and nothing is sent anywhere.

Install it

It is a PWA. Open it, then use your browser’s Install or Add to Home Screen — it works offline afterwards. An Android APK is also available.

Your data

Everything is computed in your browser. Your saved location lives on your device and nowhere else. The one network call is an optional city lookup against the free Open-Meteo geocoding API, which needs no API key — or you can type coordinates directly and it makes no call at all.
